Resumen

This paper reports the design for a multigeneration system (MS) based on renewable energies and investigate the thermodynamic and economic analyses. The reason to select the renewable energy sources is that these are sustainable or environmentally friendly. The proposed multigeneration plant can produce power, heating, cooling, swimming pool heating, and hydrogen. The main idea in this renewable-based MS is to create valuable products by using waste heat of subsystems. Finally, exergo-economic analysis based on exergy destruction or thermodynamic losses is done to obtain information about the system and to evaluate it better. In the proposed system, a single flash geothermal cycle is used as a source for electric power generation. It is recovered from the heat dissipation of geothermal fluid in separate cycles for heating, hydrogen production, power generation and cooling. The recovered heat is also exploited in de-icing unit, swimming pool, fish farm, greenhouse, and domestic.
