Developing apps that run on mobile devices like phones and tablets has recently become one of the most popular forms of software development. In this workshop we will provide a practical introduction to the creation of mobile apps that will focus first of all on presenting the main platforms for app development followed an introduction to the programming frameworks for each platform and an overview of existing libraries that could support you in developing mobile app in an efficient and usable manner. An introduction to basic principles of mobile app design will also be provided.
