Conducting a research project has many associated challenges. Having a great research idea and excellent technical skills are a must, but they do not guarantee success. In this talk, the speaker will provide some practical hints to the audience about how to successfully conduct a research project, and about how to maximise impact in the research community and ultimately in society.
